    Fabulous

Good location and interesting to stay in former railroad station. Well laid out hotel rooms.

Magnificent building with a great history, close to Steamtown and near other Scranton-area sights.

Uninspiring food, ineffective and disinterested staff, and poor choice in how the magnificent spaces in this building are used detract from what could have been a magnificent stay in a magnificent building.

    Fabulous

We thought the building itself was magnificent -- the marble columns, inlaid tiles, and glass ceiling were all very impressive! The room was comfy, and the bed gave us a good night's sleep.

The in-room jacuzzi wasn't clean, and the upstairs hallways were dark.

    Fabulous

Historic building with a beautiful marble interior.

Nice building, good to see it recycled as a hotel.

    Superb

At the bar, there was a wonderful bartender called Marie, I think, who handled all of the food and drink orders alone and couldn't have been nicer or more competent. You have a real gem!

I arrived around 6:00pm after driving a long distance and was greeted by a rather cool receptionist who summarily assigned me to a room on the 5th floor. I went to the room which was immediately by the elevator, was very small and dark, and had a window so high in the room that it was impossible to see out. I returned to reception and asked for another room. This time a young lady who was being trained helped me and gave me a large double room which was lovely. How much nicer it would have been to have that when I initially came in.

We stayed specifically because of the historical significance of the building. It lived up to its reputation - really beautiful. (Great breakfast too!)

This is an exceptional hotel for Scranton. The architecture is one of a kind. The guest rooms are very comfortable and nicely appointed. Sleep number beds are a big plus. Great nights sleep! Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

    Exceptional

It was quite charming and had an historic air about it. My Mother worked there in the 40s when it was the Lackawanna Station and thoroughly enjoyed seeing how they remodeled it to make it a hotel/restaurant/bar.

No complaints, no dislikes. It was wonderful.

Bath room too small, restaurant not convient, no room cleaning service.

    Fabulous

We were very satisfied with the location of the hotel in comparison to the city, great for walking through the city! We really enjoyed the architecture, and the friendliness of the staff. Also, the bathrooms were especially nice, and very clean.

My husband and I went to the Radisson through Booked.net, and found that because of our discounted price on the hotel room, we got a lesser quality room. The sleep number bed did not adjust, we did not have a microwave, or any type of kitchen facilities including a mini fridge. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to others, but urge you to speak up if you are dissatisfied, for sure.

    Exceptional

Staff was extremely accommodating. They upgraded our room to a larger size with no additional costs. We needed a couple of general medical supplies (band aids) which were promptly brought to our room faster therm we could have ran to the front desk. We highly recommend this hotel.

    Very good

Interesting architechture. Beautiful lobby. Convenient location for business and within walking distance of several restaurants. Confortable bed. Good shower and bath facilities. Good TV.

Room Furniture tacky. Internet service shaky. Slow elevators.

Queen sleep number bed was broken. Moved to a room w/ 2 beds. The heating unit was like being in a boiler room. So loud I jumped up when it turned on. After realizing I was not going to get any sleep I decided to turn the heat off. Not the most comfortable stay I thought I would have!

    Exceptional

We enjoy staying at this hotel when we visit with family, the staff is always there to help.

The only thing about this trip that I did not like was the fact that when we checked in to the hotel they did not have our reservation that was made on line through bing. The your young lady was very helpfull and made sure that we were given a room. Thanks
